Arts Education Programs & Courses
At the School of Contemporary Arts, students can earn their BA in Visual Arts (Honours) in many different areas: painting, printmedia, electronic arts, textiles, sculpture, performance and design. The MA programs available include MA in Visual Arts, MA in Creative Arts, and MA in Art Therapy or Dramatherapy. Students can then go on to earn their PhD in Visual Arts. The School also offers a BA/MA in Contemporary Performance, an MA in Contemporary Arts and a Professional Doctorate in Contemporary Arts.
The School of Contemporary Arts are always looking for new pathways to explore. Now the School offers an Electronic Arts field, as well as a Graphics and Design field. The School also offers an Artist Residency Program in which artists come together from all over the world to contribute to the art program.
The School is also pleased to introduce the Australian Research and Training Centre for Art and Psychotherapy (ARTCAP) which uses the research from the Dramatherapy and Art Therapy MA programmes. Soon, the School of Contemporary Arts will offer MA in Sound, Colour and Movement Therapy.
