An art school which is part of the Edith Cowan University, located in Western Australia. The School of Contemporary Arts has redefined its role to cover a broader educational base where learning occurs through cultural exchange.

At the School of Contemporary Arts Art students work in a unique multi-art environment alongside the Contemporary Arts, Performing Arts and Communications & Multimedia. Together, these three schools make up the Communication and Creative Industries Faculty. Students are given the opportunity to study art through more than one pathway offering a unique variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and degree programs.

The School of Contemporary Arts strives to create a learning atmosphere where staff and students work side by side. The teachers try to help students find their own individuality in their artwork, only acting as catalysts for the students' own personal discoveries and manifestations.
