The Australian Academy of Design is a not-for-profit college located in Melbourne, on Australia's southern coast line.
The academy provides degree courses in advertising, fashion design, graphic design, photo media and visual arts.

The Australian Academy of Design aims to develop design industry professionals and offers it's students high-quality courses and programs, developed in consultation with leading specialists in creative education.
The state of the art studios at the Australian Academy of Design provide an exciting creative environment for students to study in. The teaching staff are qualified trainers who are also highly respected and reputable artists or designers. Many also teach in universities and several have international teaching experience. Their professional skills and experience are important factors in the high quality of work being produced by students at the Australian Academy of Design. All studio and lab classes are restricted to a maximum of 16 students per class.
The computer labs are equipped with industry-standard computing equipment and software. The large former factory building also houses the Academy's Clement Meadmore Gallery where the work of teachers, students and visiting artists/designers may have their work exhibited.

- Fashion Design
- Graphic Design
- Photo Media
- Visual Arts
The above can be studied as Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Courses, Academy of Design also offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). RPL is the process by which a student's prior study, life experience and work history are measured against the content of the course in which they have enrolled. If prior learning is relevant to that course, students may be exempt from some units. Should their RPL application be successful they will receive an ungraded pass in those units.
