Introduced in 1797 Chrome Orange began a series of discoveries of various orange pigments. Only one has stood up to the test of time well for artists use and that is Cadmium Orange first developed in the 19th century. It is absolutely permanent, suitable for all media and is brighter than any orange mixed on the palette. It is the perfect bright complement to the beautiful and supremely useful Burnt Sienna.
