Photographer

A Photographer is someone who takes professional photographs. Photographers often work for newspapers and magazines or on a freelance basis for weddings & businesses.

When developing your photography skills it helps to have a creative eye for composition when photographing the subject, there is also a wide array of Photography Equipment used in photography and learning how to use it will improve your abilities, often such equipment is expensive, but Lighting Equipment in particular is often rented or borrowed when doing a training course.

Now-days with digital photography being common place having computer skills helps greatly too, as often a photography takes on an almost graphic designer role by manipulating photographs in a program called 'photoshop' before printing it out or having it published.

To work as a professional photographer you will need some formal training and an porfolio of photos. However Photography, is something that can be self taught, especially these days with the abundance of camera technology learning the basics is pretty easy and most community colleges provide helpful lessons for basic photography.

If you have a serious interest in Photography, develop your knowledge and interest, learn more by subscribing to one of the many Photography Magazines around the world, they'll inspire you by teaching you new photography techniques.
